Between annual ASA meetings, the ongoing work is carried out by five Standing Committees.
They are:

The Seafarers Committee (SC)

The Ship Insurance and Liability Committee (SILC)

The Safe Navigation and Environment Committee (SNEC)

The Shipping Policy Committee (SPC)
